The 4000/4100 lathe is a compact tabletop machine made entirely in the USA, with a steel bed, adjustable preloaded ball bearing spindle and stepless electronic speed control. The mechanics are precise and rigid enough to machine soft metals such as aluminium and brass, as well as wood and plastics, but the limited working envelope — 200 mm between centres, 90 mm swing — and 60 W rated output direct it toward clockmakers, scale modellers and anyone working on small parts with high precision requirements rather than batch production or hard-material turning.
