5400/5410 12" Deluxe Tabletop Mill
The Sherline 5400/5410 targets watchmakers, model builders and prototypers machining small brass, aluminium and steel parts within 220 × 127 × 159 mm of travel. Compared with cheaper Asian mini mills it offers handwheels graduated in 0.01 mm, a No. 1 Morse taper spindle with stated runout of 0.013 mm or less, and 90° headstock rotation. Compared with larger benchtop mills it has a 70–2800 rpm spindle and a 70 × 330 mm table: it is built for light cuts, not heavy stock removal.

Ecosystem
Software
Being a purely manual milling machine (not CNC), it does not require any control software or PC connection. Movement control is entirely handled by the graduated mechanical handwheels (0.01 mm per division) and the operator's sensitivity.
