Original Prusa MINI+ Enclosure Bundle

Prusa Research 987654321 2020

A maker looking for a reliable, remotely manageable printer for small continuous production gets value from the MINI+ that 200-300 euro machines don't offer: lower failure rates, long-term firmware support, and an enclosure bundle already suited to materials like PA-11. Compared to a Bambu Lab A1 Mini, the MINI+ sacrifices raw speed and color switching, but provides full hardware and software openness, ideal for those integrating the machine into custom systems. For occasional use or for those seeking maximum automation at low cost, the extra 200 euros isn't justified.

Software

PrusaSlicer, with pre-verified profiles for Input Shaper and Pressure Advance, is the reference software, but the machine accepts standard G-code from any compatible slicer, such as Cura or Simplify3D. Remote management runs through Prusa Connect, via Ethernet or the optional ESP Wi-Fi module. The firmware is open-source and runs on the 32-bit Buddy board, not GRBL, and is OTA-updatable: the Prusa ecosystem provides optimized profiles and regular updates, but doesn't restrict the use of alternative software.

Reviews from those who use this machine every day will be available in the next version of the platform.
