The Vision Pro is the 45 W version of the Vision: same 140 mm usable height and same motorised bed, but a work area that goes from 420×290 to 500×320 mm and a declared cutting depth of up to 18 mm of basswood in a single pass. The €500 difference over the Vision 20W is justified for those who cut wood thicker than 6 mm regularly: below that thickness the 20 W machine does the same job with a few more passes. Against a CO2 laser at a similar price it stays slower at cutting and does not engrave clear acrylic, which the blue diode passes through without attacking, but it has no tube to replace and no mirrors to align. It is the machine for those who produce small runs on wood and leather and want to keep it in a living space.

A switchable 2 W infrared module at 1064 nm is available separately, which adds direct marking of metals and of the plastics the blue diode does not attack. LightBurn support means not depending on the manufacturer's ecosystem for advanced functions.
