CORE One+
A professional maker who frequently prints ABS, ASA or PC will find in the CORE One+ the only CoreXY with an active chamber, advanced filtration and a robust structure at 1049€ as a kit, while lower-tier options (e.g. the Creality K1 Max at 800-900€) often require upgrades for thermal management. Compared to a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon at 1299€, the One+ offers an open ecosystem (Marlin firmware, multiple slicers) and Prusa's decade-long support, at the cost of automatic multi-material switching. Anyone printing only PLA with the door open won't take advantage of the active temperature control, and the 250x220x270 mm build volume is limiting for larger objects.

Software
Natively compatible with PrusaSlicer (based on Slic3r, open-source), but it works with any slicer able to generate Marlin-flavored G-code, such as Cura, ideaMaker or Simplify3D. The firmware is a Prusa-modified Marlin 2, fully open: no lock-in to proprietary software or protocols. The user has full control over the machine, but PrusaSlicer is recommended for optimal performance, as it includes exclusive profiles and features like dynamic flow calibration.
Reviews from those who use this machine every day will be available in the next version of the platform.
