The FoxAlien Masuter Pro is a desktop CNC for hobbyists working mostly wood and plastics on a 400 × 400 mm bed, with 60 mm of Z travel. It uses the familiar 775 spindle at 10,000 rpm on a 12 V/5 A supply: the same class of mechanics as a 3018, but with four times the work area. The spindle is the limit: aluminium needs light passes, and anyone aiming at metal should look at machines with a 400 W spindle or more.
