Post-processing

Over time: From the manufacturer's data sheet: once cured it resists weak acids and bases and some solvents such as alcohol, but not strong solvents such as acetone. The bottle keeps for 18 months in its original container, between 20 and 50 °C and away from light.

Common defects

  • Failed prints when the resin is below 20 °C: the manufacturer recommends printing between 20 and 50 °C
  • Sediment at the bottom of the vat: stir with a plastic spatula or pour back into the bottle and shake
  • Resin curing in the vat under sunlight: print in a dark place or with the cover closed
  • Uncured prints left too long in the cleaning liquid lose performance

Recommended PPE: gloves_nitrile, eye_protection

Manufacturer's safety data sheet (CLP): the liquid resin causes skin irritation, may cause an allergic skin reaction, causes serious eye irritation, may cause respiratory irritation and is harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects (H315, H317, H319, H335, H412). Nitrile gloves and safety glasses, in a ventilated room. Wash in isopropyl alcohol or ethanol for at least 3 minutes, then cure under UV for 3 minutes. Once cured it is disposed of as plastic waste; liquid resin and containers go to an approved waste disposal facility.
