Software notes Based on the open GRBL protocol, it is fully compatible with major CAD/CAM software on the market, such as Easel, Fusion 360, and Carveco Maker. For g-code senders, Universal Gcode Sender (UGS) or Candle can be used. Should you choose to add the laser module, it is also supported for use with LightBurn and LaserGRBL. The machine is sold without a control unit and CNC software, offering maximum architectural freedom. The user must connect the stepper motors (via the three included standard SUB-D 9-pole connectors) to a third-party controller, allowing the use of firmware like GRBL, LinuxCNC, or Mach3 depending on the chosen electronics.
