The differences that matter
- Price: about €625 (listed between €550 and €700) vs €499 → the Q2 costs about €125 less.
- Nozzle and bed: 300 °C and 100 °C vs 370 °C and 120 °C (manufacturer's figures) → the Q2 takes filaments that the K2 Combo does not heat enough for.
- Multicolor: included in the K2 Combo, an added accessory on the Q2 → for colour printing the Q2 costs more than its list price suggests.
Which one to choose
Choose K2 Combo if…
For multicolor ready out of the Combo box, without buying an accessory separately, with Creality Print and control over Wi-Fi or LAN. The trade-offs are a cooler nozzle and bed and a higher price.
Choose Q2 if…
For filaments that need a very hot nozzle and bed in an enclosed chamber, with QIDI Studio and a built-in camera, for less money. The trade-off is that multicolor needs an accessory added on top.
