Creality K1C vs Elegoo Centauri 2 Combo
Technical comparison · Fused filament fabrication (FFF/FDM)
Two CoreXY machines of the same class that part ways on colour: the Centauri 2 Combo ships with the CANVAS four-colour system, while the K1C needs an accessory for multicolour. The rest is bed space: 256×256 mm against 220×220 mm.

| Software notes | Uses Creality Print, an optimized proprietary slicer. Fully compatible with third-party software such as Orca Slicer and PrusaSlicer. | Four-color printing runs through the CANVAS system included in the Combo version. |
The differences that matter
- Multicolour: the Centauri 2 Combo includes the four-colour CANVAS, so you print in colour from day one; the K1C needs an accessory on top of its €599 list price.
- Bed: 256×256 mm against 220×220 mm → a part 240 mm wide prints whole on the Centauri, while the K1C forces you to split it.
Which one to choose
Choose K1C if…
You mostly print in a single colour, functional parts in materials that call for an enclosed chamber and a nozzle up to 300 °C, and you want native Klipper with slicers such as Orca or PrusaSlicer. It costs €599. You accept a smaller bed and, if you ever want multicolour, buying an accessory separately.
Choose Centauri 2 Combo if…
You make multicolour objects such as signs, miniatures or showpiece prototypes and don't want to add hardware: CANVAS is in the Combo box. Wider parts fit too. In exchange the manufacturer's declared peak speed is lower (500 mm/s against 600).
