- Nozzle at 320 °C and bed at 110 °C against 300 and 100 (manufacturer's stated values) → the Centauri Carbon has more headroom with filaments that call for high temperatures
Which one to choose
Choose P1S if…
you print parts with many colors at once and need more than a handful of spools in one job. It costs about €449 against €375 for the Elegoo. Slicer and app are Bambu's: LAN mode runs without an account, but remote timelapses and OTA updates need one.
Choose Centauri Carbon if…
you mostly print in one or two colors, four at most, and would rather keep about €75 (€375 against €449). You give up colors beyond the fourth; in return you get Elegoo Slicer, an Orca derivative, dual-band Wi-Fi and the chamber camera for watching a job remotely.
