- Up to 16 colours (with accessory) vs one → multicolour parts in a single print are only possible on the P1S.
- 256×256 vs 220×220 mm bed → parts wider than 22 cm only fit on the P1S.
Which one to choose
Choose P1S if…
you print in several colours in one part or need an enclosed chamber. The P1S reaches 16 colours with the dedicated accessory and 500 mm/s (manufacturer-stated values), and its 256×256 mm bed takes parts wider than 220 mm. The trade-off is cost: more than double, with multicolour needing the accessory on top.
Choose Ender-3 V3 SE if…
you are starting out or want a second machine for single-colour parts, with files moved by SD card. At about €175 the 220×220 mm bed covers most desktop parts. You give up the enclosed chamber, the filament sensor and input shaping, and Klipper is only reachable through community guides, without official support.
