The differences that matter
- Volume 370 × 370 × 455 mm against 256 × 256 × 256 mm → a part 40 cm tall prints whole only on the Predator.
- Four colors against one → a multicolor object comes out of the Centauri in one job; from the Predator it comes out in one color.
- Maximum speed 150 against 500 mm/s (manufacturer-declared values) → the same part takes very different times.
Which one to choose
Choose Predator if…
You print one large part, such as a cosplay mask, a tall vase or a prototype that would otherwise be split and glued, in a single color. The trade-off is speed: the Predator declares a much lower maximum speed, and a big part, already long to print, takes even more hours. List price is €519.
Choose Centauri 2 Combo if…
You print normal-sized objects in several colors, such as name plates, models or personalized gifts, without stepping in mid-job and at higher declared speeds. The trade-off: area and height are smaller, so a part over 25 cm has to be split.
