Anycubic Kobra 4 Combo vs Anycubic Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo
Technical comparison · Fused filament fabrication (FFF/FDM)
Two multicolor Anycubic printers in the same price range, aimed at people who want colour printing without moving up to professional machines. What decides it is the enclosure: the Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo has one, the Kobra 4 Combo does not.

The differences that matter
- Enclosure (no → yes): only the S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo can handle materials that dislike temperature swings.
- Colours (4 → 8): the S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo handles models with more shades without chaining several units.
- Bed and nozzle (100 °C and 300 °C → 120 °C and 320 °C): the S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo takes more demanding filaments (manufacturer-declared values).
- Price (€499 → €599): the Kobra 4 Combo costs €100 less.
Which one to choose
Choose Kobra 4 Combo if…
you mostly print PLA and PETG, sometimes in several colours, and want to spend €100 less. The 260 × 260 mm bed fits slightly larger parts, and a 300 °C nozzle covers common materials. You accept no enclosure: ABS and other draft-sensitive materials are out of reach, and colour jobs stop at 4.
Choose Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo if…
you also want to print ABS or ASA in a protected space and run jobs with up to 8 colours. A 120 °C bed and 320 °C nozzle widen the choice of filaments. You pay €100 more, the CoreXY machine weighs nearly 22 kg, and the build area is slightly smaller (250 × 250 mm).
