The differences that matter
- 320 × 320 × 400 mm → 256 × 256 × 256 mm: a part 350 mm tall or 300 mm wide only fits on the Kobra 2 Plus.
- Open frame → enclosed chamber: the P2S prints shielded from drafts and room temperature swings.
- One color → up to 20 with an accessory: a multicolor or multi-material job is only possible on the P2S.
- About €350–450 → €519: the difference buys the enclosed chamber and multicolor, not volume.
Which one to choose
Choose Kobra 2 Plus if…
You print large parts in a single color, up to 320 mm on a side and 400 mm tall, for about €350–450. The trade-off: open chamber, one color at a time and lower maximum temperatures, 260 °C at the nozzle and 90 °C at the bed.
Choose P2S if…
You print in an enclosed chamber and with several colors, up to 20 with the multicolor accessory, which is bought separately, for €519. The trade-off: 256 mm on every axis, so a 300 mm tall part does not fit, and push notifications go through the cloud.
