POWER MIG 256
The Lincoln Electric POWER MIG 256 is positioned in the professional tier, designed as a true workhorse for the workshop. With a maximum output of 300 A and a 40% duty cycle at 250 A, it is the ideal choice for light industrial applications, automotive repairs, and general fabrication. The traditional transformer architecture ensures extreme long-term reliability, although it makes the machine very heavy (around 100 kg) and binds it to a stationary or trolley-mounted installation. It is intended for experienced operators who require a stable arc and flawless wire traction, guaranteed by the robust die-cast aluminum wire drive system.

Software
This welder does not rely on any external control software or require cloud connectivity. The interface is based on direct manual controls via potentiometers, complemented by two digital displays that show preset voltage and wire feed speed during setup, as well as actual values during welding. The lack of complex IT management makes it a purely analog product that is straightforward to operate in the field.
Reviews from those who use this machine every day will be available in the next version of the platform.
