OrangeStorm Giga
The Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga is positioned in the prosumer and professional tier thanks to its colossal print volume of 800 x 800 x 1000 mm. Designed for 1:1 scale prototyping and furniture design, this floorstanding FDM printer eliminates the need to slice large models into smaller parts. A distinctive feature is the heated print bed, which is divided into four independent 410 x 410 mm PEI areas, optimizing energy consumption by heating only the necessary zones. Although the structure is Cartesian (bed-slinger), stability is ensured by dual linear rails and massive components. It supports the addition of optional printheads for copy mode or multiple materials.

Software
The system is powered by Klipper-based firmware, processed by a 64-bit quad-core SoC, enabling speeds up to 300 mm/s. Connectivity is comprehensive, offering USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi ports for the remote management of massive G-code files. The user interface is accessible via a generous 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, which is detachable from the chassis for comfortable positioning. The machine is best managed using the Elegoo Cura slicer but supports standard STL and OBJ formats, allowing broad workflow flexibility without any dependence on cloud platforms.
Reviews from those who use this machine every day will be available in the next version of the platform.
