Software notes The MASSO G3 Touch is a self-contained CNC controller with a touchscreen display that requires no dedicated PC during machining. G-code programs are authored on any operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) and transferred via USB flash drive. The controller supports G-code spindle speed control, threading, and built-in conversational programming. WiFi is included as standard. No specific software is required on the host computer: the MASSO G3 handles program execution, axis management, and homing sensor control independently. The system includes an Ubuntu Linux computer with LinuxCNC preinstalled for 4-axis control, with the driver board and power supply already fitted. The tailstock spindle remains manually controlled. Utilities to convert CAD files or TrueType fonts into G-code are included; only a monitor must be supplied.
