Software notes The software compatibility of the device is extensive and aligns with the industrial standards of the maker sector. It natively supports both LaserGRBL, a free and open-source option suitable for basic engraving operations, and LightBurn, the most popular paid professional platform for advanced management of layers, cutting parameters, and complex vector formats. Control can be managed directly via a wired USB connection from a computer or in offline mode, using memory cards to load processing files. The machine responds to standard G-code commands, allowing experienced users fine customization of acceleration and speed parameters through the configuration of the internal firmware, without constraints linked to proprietary and closed-source cloud ecosystems. Machine operation is managed through the proprietary xTool Creative Space (also known as xTool Studio) software, developed by the manufacturer and fully compatible with both Windows and macOS operating systems. The user interface is designed to facilitate project preparation and the configuration of cutting and engraving parameters. The system supports importing files in the most common vector and raster formats, including SVG, DXF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, and BMP. The physical connection between the computer and the engraver is established via a USB port, with the option to utilize a wireless Wi-Fi connection. For this specific model, the manufacturer currently does not declare any native compatibility with third-party laser control software such as LightBurn or RDWorks.
