X-CF Pro
The QIDI X-CF Pro falls into the intermediate and prosumer tier due to its specific focus on engineering materials like carbon fiber and nylon. Equipped with a fully enclosed chamber and a high-temperature extruder capable of reaching 350 °C, it is well-suited for functional prototyping and advanced maker projects. Its robust construction with a dual Z-axis and industrial linear guides ensures stability, but its older electronics and slower printing speeds compared to modern standards prevent it from reaching higher professional tiers. Now discontinued, it remains a practical solution for users who specifically need to print abrasive technical filaments.

Software
The printer is officially supported by QidiPrint, the manufacturer's proprietary slicing software, which includes pre-configured profiles optimized for carbon fiber and nylon printing. The system is also fully compatible with popular third-party slicers, including Ultimaker Cura and Simplify3D, giving users the flexibility to adapt their workflow. Basic connectivity includes Wi-Fi, a wired LAN network, and a USB port for manual file transfer. Although the native Marlin-based firmware lacks advanced network management features like Klipper, the machine can be successfully interfaced with external server systems such as OctoPrint via cable.
Reviews from those who use this machine every day will be available in the next version of the platform.
