Software notes The system relies on an open ecosystem thanks to the motherboard with pre-installed Klipper. Users can manage the machine both through the 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen interface and via local network using the integrated web interface (Fluidd). Elegoo provides its own customized version of the Cura slicer, but the printer remains fully compatible with most third-party slicers such as PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, and Simplify3D. Native support for Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity facilitates sending and monitoring G-code files without the need for physical media. The printer is officially supported by QidiPrint, the manufacturer's proprietary slicing software, which includes pre-configured profiles optimized for carbon fiber and nylon printing. The system is also fully compatible with popular third-party slicers, including Ultimaker Cura and Simplify3D, giving users the flexibility to adapt their workflow. Basic connectivity includes Wi-Fi, a wired LAN network, and a USB port for manual file transfer. Although the native Marlin-based firmware lacks advanced network management features like Klipper, the machine can be successfully interfaced with external server systems such as OctoPrint via cable.
