The Thicknesser DH 40 is a thickness planer with a die-cast aluminium table and handwheel adjustment in tenths of a millimetre. Feed is automatic and even, with an anti-kickback device. The knurled, spring-mounted infeed roller guides irregular workpieces, while the rubber-coated outfeed roller avoids marking the surface. The planer block carries two HSS blades; spare blades are bought separately.
