LP2
At €569 for the base bundle, the LP2 sits in the bracket where you pay for portability: 5 W of diode and a 100 × 100 mm area are less than a Cartesian frame at the same price offers, but that frame weighs ten times as much and never leaves the bench. Here the laser unit detaches from the electric stand and engraves by hand on curved surfaces or already-mounted objects — signs, cases, lids — with a total weight of 1.75 kg and a declared precision of 0.05 mm. With the Versatile Electric Roller the area becomes 100 × 2000 mm and cylinders can be engraved. The limit is power: 5 W engrave well but cut little, and anyone wanting to cut plywood must move up to the 10 W LP2 Plus.

Ecosystem
Software
On a computer it runs LaserPecker Design Space for Windows and macOS, which accepts G-code, JPG, PNG, SVG and DXF; the mobile app for Android and iOS accepts JPG, PNG and G-code, so vector files must be prepared on a computer. The connection is Bluetooth 5.0 from the phone and USB from the PC: Bluetooth on PC requires a dongle sold separately. The page declares no compatibility with LightBurn — unlike LP2 Plus, LP4 and LP5 — so the path remains the manufacturer's proprietary one.
How we verify this sheet
Technical data verified on the manufacturer's official website (recording date shown above). Editorial notes, market positioning and anomaly flags are assisted by the MakerSpecs AI system as a second reader, always validated by the author before publication. Read the full methodology →
