LP1 Plus

At €199, with a 600 mW diode and a 100 × 100 mm working area, the LP1 Plus occupies the bracket where the alternative is not a cheaper machine but no machine at all: below €150 there are laser modules to be fitted to self-built frames, not finished products. It is aimed at those who engrave small, already finished objects — keyrings, leather cases, wooden lids — a few times a month, without dedicating fixed space to the machine: the laser unit weighs 0.21 kg and the set with the stand 0.72 kg, so it goes back in a drawer between sessions. The limits are the 100 × 100 mm area and the 0.6 W power: it engraves wood, leather and paper but does not cut, and €300-400 more moves you to 5-10 W diodes that cut 3 mm plywood. Control is only through a mobile app over Bluetooth: anyone preparing jobs on a computer with LightBurn will not find a supported path here.

Ecosystem

Software

Control goes exclusively through the LaserPecker Design Space (LDS) app, for iOS 13.0+ and Android 7.0+; the declared connection is Bluetooth and the official page lists no USB or Wi-Fi connection. Accepted formats are G-code, JPG, PNG and SVG, so a vector file prepared on a computer must first be transferred to the phone. No compatibility with LightBurn or other desktop software is declared: the protocol is proprietary and the ecosystem remains the manufacturer's app.

How we verify this sheet

Technical data verified on the manufacturer's official website (recording date shown above). Editorial notes, market positioning and anomaly flags are assisted by the MakerSpecs AI system as a second reader, always validated by the author before publication. Read the full methodology →
