Software notes The machine's operating system features advanced synergic control, significantly streamlining the setup of operating parameters. The SYNSTAR 400 TS comes standard with over sixty pre-loaded synergic programs, carefully optimized for various alloys, thicknesses, and wire diameters (iron, aluminum, stainless steel, and flux-cored wire). Users can save their custom settings in the system's memory for quick retrieval during repetitive tasks. The color LCD interface provides a clear and intuitive real-time readout of all welding values. Furthermore, the welder's base software is highly expandable: sophisticated features such as pulsed and double-pulsed welding are available via dedicated software upgrade packages. This modular approach allows the operator to adapt the power source to new and more complex welding requirements over time. As a traditional electromechanical welding machine based on a transformer, the TELMIG 250/2 does not have any onboard software or operating system. There is no digital interface, nor the ability to connect to the cloud or save custom programs. All adjustments are made physically via the step switches on the front panel, which allow the operator to set the voltage in six different positions and to adjust the wire feed speed using an analog potentiometer.
