Software notes The 4029CR ships without a controller or software: the control system integration is entirely the user's responsibility. It is compatible with common solutions in the Taig and DIY builder ecosystem, including Mach3, Mach4, and LinuxCNC, paired with NEMA 23 motor drivers (motor mounts are included). Software choice depends entirely on the control hardware selected. The lathe is entirely manual with no software interface or CNC control. The unit ships with pulleys, a six-step belt and the power feed gearbox, but without a motor: the user must source a compatible 1750 RPM motor and, if needed, an external inverter for speed regulation.
