Software notes The 3029MAN is a fully manual lathe with no CNC control or software interface. Spindle speed is selected mechanically via a multi-step belt drive across four ranges (435–1800 RPM); feeds are hand-operated through lead screws fitted with friction-adjustable micrometer dials graduated at 0.001-inch increments. The lathe ships as CNC-ready: NEMA 23 motor mounts and ball screws on both X and Z axes are factory-installed, but axis motors, drivers, control box, and software are not included and must be sourced separately. Compatible with common motion-control platforms such as Mach3, Mach4, and LinuxCNC; the specific configuration is entirely up to the user.
