Software notes The machine ships without axis motors, control electronics or software; the user is responsible for completing the drive system. The pre-installed NEMA 23 mounts are compatible with the main open-source and commercial CNC controllers, including LinuxCNC and Mach3. No cloud connectivity or subscription is required at any stage of operation. The 3029MAN is a fully manual lathe with no CNC control or software interface. Spindle speed is selected mechanically via a multi-step belt drive across four ranges (435–1800 RPM); feeds are hand-operated through lead screws fitted with friction-adjustable micrometer dials graduated at 0.001-inch increments.
