Software notes The machine ships with Mach 3, the most widely used CNC control software for hobbyist and semi-professional Windows-based setups. The integrated DISP (Digital Index Signal Processor) handles G-code threading via a spindle index signal. Mach 3 is compatible with most standard CAM post-processors and does not require an internet connection to operate. The lathe ships as CNC-ready: NEMA 23 motor mounts and ball screws on both X and Z axes are factory-installed, but axis motors, drivers, control box, and software are not included and must be sourced separately. Compatible with common motion-control platforms such as Mach3, Mach4, and LinuxCNC; the specific configuration is entirely up to the user.
