Software notes The machine ships with Mach 3, the most widely used CNC control software for hobbyist and semi-professional Windows-based setups. The integrated DISP (Digital Index Signal Processor) handles G-code threading via a spindle index signal. Mach 3 is compatible with most standard CAM post-processors and does not require an internet connection to operate. The machine ships with a Mach 3 license, the Windows-based CAM/control software commonly used on CNC lathes and mills in this class. Mach 3 requires a PC with a parallel (LPT) port or a compatible motion control card; it is not compatible with macOS or Linux. A separate CAM application (e.g. Fusion 360, BobCAD) is needed to generate G-code.
