Software notes The machine ships without axis motors, control box or software. Community-documented compatibility with Mach3, Mach4 and LinuxCNC is extensive; NEMA 23 motor mounts come pre-installed. CNC threading requires a spindle index sensor, which is not included in the CR version. The lathe is entirely manual with no software interface or CNC control. The unit ships with pulleys, a six-step belt and the power feed gearbox, but without a motor: the user must source a compatible 1750 RPM motor and, if needed, an external inverter for speed regulation.
