Software notes The machine ships with a Mach 3 license, the most widely used CNC control software in the maker and prototyping segment. The Microproto Systems DSLS controller handles closed-loop operation, and the Digital Index Signal Processor (DISP) enables single-point threading. No cloud connectivity or software subscription is required. The machine ships without axis motors, control box or software. Community-documented compatibility with Mach3, Mach4 and LinuxCNC is extensive; NEMA 23 motor mounts come pre-installed. CNC threading requires a spindle index sensor, which is not included in the CR version.
