Software notes CNC-ready version: the machine ships with factory-installed stepper motor mounts on the X and Z axes, but stepper motors and CNC controller are sold separately. The control software depends on the paired system and is not supplied as standard. The 3029MAN is a fully manual lathe with no CNC control or software interface. Spindle speed is selected mechanically via a multi-step belt drive across four ranges (435–1800 RPM); feeds are hand-operated through lead screws fitted with friction-adjustable micrometer dials graduated at 0.001-inch increments.
