Software notes The X1E works with Bambu Studio, Bambu Lab's proprietary slicer, which handles slicing, automatic calibration, and remote monitoring via the Bambu Handy app. Orca Slicer, an open-source Bambu Studio fork with dedicated profiles, is also supported. The firmware is proprietary; Klipper is not natively supported. The printer can run in LAN-only mode, operating fully without an internet connection through the local network. The official software is Snapmaker Luban, which integrates the tools needed to manage 3D printing, laser, and CNC operations into a single interface. It supports the direct import of common standard formats (STL, OBJ, SVG, DXF). The machine features Wi-Fi and USB connectivity, allowing for practical job dispatch. As an open system, 3D printing is also compatible with third-party slicers like Cura or PrusaSlicer, while for the laser module, it is possible to generate G-code with dedicated software and then export the file for offline execution.
