Software notes The P1S is managed through Bambu Studio, Bambu Lab's proprietary slicer available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, or via OrcaSlicer, the widely adopted open-source fork that provides finer parameter control. The Bambu Handy mobile app enables remote monitoring and print launching. The printer supports local LAN connections without a mandatory cloud account, though some advanced features — such as remote timelapses and OTA firmware updates — require a Bambu account. The official software is Snapmaker Luban, which integrates the tools needed to manage 3D printing, laser, and CNC operations into a single interface. It supports the direct import of common standard formats (STL, OBJ, SVG, DXF). The machine features Wi-Fi and USB connectivity, allowing for practical job dispatch. As an open system, 3D printing is also compatible with third-party slicers like Cura or PrusaSlicer, while for the laser module, it is possible to generate G-code with dedicated software and then export the file for offline execution.
