Software notes The native software is Bambu Studio, available for Windows and macOS, with advanced slicing and direct integration of the machine's proprietary features. The printer is also compatible with third-party slicers that export standard G-code (PrusaSlicer, SuperSlicer, Cura), though some advanced functions — including AMS control, Vision Encoder calibration, and chamber management — may be unavailable or only partially supported outside the Bambu ecosystem. The QIDI X-Smart 3 is primarily managed via QIDI Slicer, a proprietary software based on the latest versions of PrusaSlicer, optimized to fully leverage the machine's high speeds and CoreXY structure. The interface offers both a beginner mode and an advanced mode for granular control of parameters.
