Software notes Artillery OS, a Klipper-based system. Compatible with standard slicers like Cura, PrusaSlicer and OrcaSlicer via G-code. Supports Wi-Fi transfer, SD card and touchscreen control. Compared to closed platforms, it allows advanced adjustment of printing parameters, but lacks a native cloud ecosystem and requires manual slicer configuration. The printer is natively compatible with PrusaSlicer, an open-source slicer with official tested profiles for all supported materials; OrcaSlicer profiles are also available. The firmware is Prusa-proprietary (STM32/xBuddy-based) with no native Klipper support. Remote management is available via Prusa Connect (optional cloud platform) or over the local network; offline printing from USB is fully supported with no functional limitations.

Which one to choose

Choose Artillery M1 Pro S1 if…

you value price.

See the Artillery M1 Pro S1 sheet →

Choose Original Prusa XL 5-toolhead 3D Printer - Enclosure Bundle if…

you value work area, maximum z height and multi-extruder. «The Z height determines how tall a part the machine can produce in one print. Vertical objects such as vases, load-bearing structures, or casting patterns require a high Z travel. A lower value does not affect quality but forces the user to split or reorient the model. Z height should be considered alongside the XY surface to assess total usable build volume.»
