Software notes The Kobra OS firmware is based on Klipper and controlled via a proprietary touch interface. The official slicer is Anycubic Slicer Next (derived from OrcaSlicer, available for Windows and macOS), but it also supports third-party OrcaSlicer. Remote control is possible via the Anycubic app (iOS/Android) over a local network, with no mandatory cloud connection for daily operations. The proprietary Snapmaker Luban software is designed to manage all three main functions of the machine (3D printing, laser processing, and CNC routing) within a single interface, significantly simplifying the workflow for users approaching mixed manufacturing. For pure 3D printing, the control board still accepts standard G-code generated by third-party slicers such as Ultimaker Cura or PrusaSlicer, providing advanced users with greater control over specific extrusion and movement settings.
